Purple again!

Hi all!
This is something I tried today and I really like it. I did the flowers first; one nail at a time as the base coat and nail polishes need to be wet for the flower to come out like this. Then a little rhinestone, the purple French, top coat and you're done!

Silver Black lace

Hi everybody!

This is the design I wore yesterday. I thought I'd try a lace inspired design and this is the end result. Hope you like it :)

Glittery White

Hi everybody!

New day, new post :) This is a design I like to use when I go to work. It is simple, yet stylish so needless to say I use it a lot. I started with a base coat, then I painted the tips with a white glitter polish. I then added on the tips with a brush some white glitter - it gives it a little 3D effect. I added two coats of top coat because if you add only one, sometimes the glitter pushes through if the coat is not thick enough. So this step is really important in making this manicure a lasting one and prevent chipping. Hope you like it!

Elegant Spring French Mani

This is the design I did today. I hope you guys like it :)
I think the beads complete this design perfectly.

Purple. Purple and...Purple!

This is a design I did a few weeks ago, Purple is one of my favorite colors so you will see a lot of designs with this one.

Black and Gold is back!

Black French can be very elegant if done properly. Sure, it requires quite some skill and attention but the end results sure are worth it, don't you think? There is no specific proper way to make this French perfect, you just have to be very, very careful, pay a lot of time to each line and use whatever method suits you best ( you can use special strips for French manicure or you can paint it freehand like I did). I wanted to add a little more edge to the design instead of simple black French mani, so I added some rhinestones and "la piece de resistance" some glitter golden nail polish at the base of each nail. I hope you like it! I love the combination.

Cool Zebra Glitter Stripes

I am not usually a huge fan of zebra nail designs but I feel this one is a rather subtle version and the glitter adds the extra spark needed.

Elegant white flower

The little white flowers look great don't they? They are simple to do and if you feel applying a flower on each nail is too much, you can always just use it on one nail for effect.

Always Pink!

Black and Pink I feel is one of the best nail polish combinations! I was trying out some designs here and at the end of the exercise I discovered I quite liked the results even with different designs on every nail. So, what do you think? Black/Pink is HOT or NOT?

First day! First design!

Hi all!

Welcome to my nail art blog! I have had a passion for nail art for quite a while now and I love to try new designs. So I hope you will stick around to checkout nail art design ideas, tutorials, nail care tips and tricks. Hopefully you will enjoy my blog and maybe you get inspired and try some ideas for yourself.
This is one of my first tries  and one of my favorite designs.
I started with the base coat, then applied two shades of blue; continued with the glitter and then I added the rhinestones. Don't forget to seal with top coat! (otherwise your rhinestones will fall within the first few hours)
I will add a tutorial on this design in one of the future postings.
